50% Grenache Blanc, 50% Grenache Gris - 11.5% abv
These grapes are grown on limestone, marl, and schist soil.
They have 5 hectares and are working with 70+ year old vines. Homemade natural treatments are used to protect the vines and are based on whey + essential oils + plants either fermented or infused.
The grapes were picked quite early (hence the 11,5% alcohol), pressed immediately and fermented in a steel tank until dry. The juice was transferred into 4 different oak barrels (2 years old) and some of it in steel tanks for 6 months. Bottled on May 21st 2020.
Salty, green apple, golden kiwi, lot's of acidity, elegant, medium bodied. Honey on the nose. Seriously good!
Pair with seafood or mac and cheese. Always keep a cold bottle in the fridge. Everyone will love this wine.
