On the 2nd of October 2023, we picked the Riesling grapes from our vineyards in Wendselsheim, Rheinhessen. 25+ year old vines on sandstone soil, farmed organically.
Directly pressed and transferred into 500L barrels to ferment. Aged for 11 months.
Tangy green apple, gooseberry, and bright lemon zest lead the way, supported by vibrant acidity and a lovely mouth-filling richness from the barrel ageing.
