On the 14th of September 2023, the Pinot Gris grapes were hand harvested from our vineyard in Wendelsheim, Rheinhessen. 20 year old vines grown in red sandstone soil, farmed organically. 

8 days on the skins, whole bunches, semi carbonic maceration, aged 10 months in old oak barrels. Unfiltered. Unfined. No added sulfites. Spontaneous fermentation.

Tastes like an infusion of raspberries, elegant, soft in tannins, medium acidity, clean and refreshing.  

Serve chilled. This wine can be served with or without food.
