On the 22nd of September 2023 we hand picked the Pinot Noir grapes from our Kühhimmel vineyard, Rheinhessen. 25 year old vines grown in clay & limestone soil, farmed organically. No added sulfites. Spontaneous fermentation. 

14 days on the skins. Whole bunches. carbonic maceration. No punch down or pump over. Aged 9 months in old 225l oak barrels. No added sulfites. 

Since we avoided juice extraction and daily pump-overs, this wine evolved into an exceptionally fresh and vibrant expression. Beautiful aromas of fresh raspberries and cranberries, echoed seamlessly on the palate. This wine radiates energy and delivers pure enjoyment with every sip.

You can enjoy this wine now or leave it a few more years.
