Matousè is made from 100% old-vine Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Selected from a vineyard with limestone, clay and flint stone soils in the region of Touraine, Loire Valley.
Alexis used a long cold temperature winemaking process in a fibreglass vat, with little filtration and minimal sulphur to give pure flavours and dense texture.
Matousè is a nutty, rich Sauvignon Blanc. It is clean and complex. There is an elegant depth to this wine with consistent acidity rolling across the tongue.
Decant before serving. You can drink this wine with or without food.
