85% Silvaner, 15% Riesling - 11.5% abv
On the 26th of September 2023 we picked the Silvaner grapes from our friends vineyard. Riesling was picked from our vineyard on the 29th of September. Both located in Wendelsheim, Rheinhessen. 25 year old vines grown on limestone & red sandstone soil, farmed organically.
Silvaner spent 18 days, whilst Riesling spent 7 days on the skins. Whole bunches. Aged 10 months in old oak barrels. Unfiltered. Unfined. No added sulfites. Spontaneous fermentation.
This wine is aromatic and floral, with hints of peach and nectarines.
Serve chilled. This wine can be served with or without food.
