100% Sauvignon Rose - 13.5% abv

Matousè is made from 100% old-vine Sauvignon Rose grapes. Selected from a vineyard with limestone, clay and flint stone soils in the region of Touraine, Loire Valley. 

Don't mistake this grape for a Sauvignon Blanc, it is different. With 2 weeks skin contact, the colour of this wine is rich and golden, which is also how it tastes. Like toffees and ripe apples. There is some depth on the palate, but a nice flow of acidity to stop it feeling heavy. 

Open the bottle a little bit before serving. You can pair this with smoky fish or something creamy.
