100% Riesling - 13.5% abv

Same vineyard, same grape, different years. This stunning Riesling Solera is a blend of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021 all in one bottle. 

2017/18 were blended together for one year and then 75% of the foudre (2,000 litres) were bottled. This created space in the barrel and so 2019 was added. This process continued over the years. Aged together in a 7000L foudre for 60 months. 

There is a hint of vanilla on the nose which can also be found on the palate, along with liquorice, subtle raspberries and an oxidative finish. Mouthfeel is creamy.

Recommend decanting beforehand. Tastes great with roast chicken and gravy ;)
