This is a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grapes, hand picked from our steepest vineyard on the Steigerberg in Eckelsheim. 

Vineyards grown on porphyr soil. Whole bunches, 10 days semi carbonic maceration and aged for 9 months in old oak barrels.  

There is a lot of freshness in this wine. With a beautiful balance between the red berry expression from the Pinot Gris and a blackcurrant explosion from the Pinot Noir. 

Serve slightly chilled.
