On the 6th of September 2022 we picked the Pinot Noir grapes from Weingut Nägele in Baden. 40 year old vines on clay and calcareous soil, farmed organically.
70% whole bunch and 30% destemmed. 2 weeks semi carbonic maceration.
Aged in 500L & 225L old oak barrels.
Ripe red berry fruits with fresh blueberries, flowing acidity, tons of elegance throughout and a crunchy structure.
We have to say it's our best Pinot Noir yet!
Serve with a slight chill.
