This is a blend of Dornfelder and Pinot Noir grapes from 20 year old vines on clay and limestone soil, farmed organically.
Dornfelder directly pressed from 2023 and aged in barrel for 2 years and Pinot Noir directly pressed from 2025. Blended together for a few months before bottling.
The Dornfelder brings red fruit flavours like cranberries with a lot of energy behind it, whilst the Pinot Noir creates freshness and acidity.
Best served chilled. Could be considered a rosé or light red style.
