100% Menu Pineau - 13.5% abv
The Menu Pineau vines are 60 years old. Situated in the Loir-et-Cher.
Half of the winemaking process is done in barrel and the other half in fiber glass tank.
Visually this wine is a pale golden colour and slightly cloudy.
There is a little fizz and a reductive smell once opened, but this fades.
On the nose you'll find lemon, apple, yoghurt, yeast, a little woody from the oxidation that appeared from the barrel during the ageing process.
The palate shows off a fuller bodied white with a rounded mouthfeel. A slight effervescence with a crisp and mineral finish.
Recommend to chill the wine and decant before serving it.
